Hosting and technical provision

This website is provided via Lovable (application hosting). For form enquiries, we use Supabase (database) as a data processor. When you visit the website, server access data is processed: IP address, time of access, user agent and the page requested. This processing serves the secure and stable provision of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Data processing agreements are in place with the providers we use.

Contact form

If you use the contact form, we process: name, email address, optionally your phone number, area of interest, property type, property location, rental status and your message. The purpose is to answer your enquiry and prepare a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We store this data until your enquiry has been fully dealt with, and for a maximum of 12 months thereafter if no contract is entered into. To prevent misuse (rate limiting), we additionally store a hashed IP address for up to 24 hours (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The hash cannot be reversed to reveal the IP address.

We use the double opt-in procedure for our newsletter: after signing up, you receive an email with a confirmation link. We only add you to our list once you have confirmed. We store: your email address, the time of sign-up and confirmation, the exact wording of your consent, a hashed IP address and the user agent – as evidence of consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Art. 7(1) GDPR). Our email service provider is Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH) acting as data processor; the sender address is hello@canarytravel.net. For performance measurement, we evaluate in aggregated form, per campaign, how many emails were delivered, opened and clicked. You can withdraw your consent at any time – via the unsubscribe link in every email or by messaging hello@canarytravel.net. Unsubscribed and undeliverable addresses (bounces, complaints) are kept on a suppression list so that your objection is permanently respected (Art. 6(1)(c) and (f) GDPR).

Fonts

The fonts used are served locally from our own server. No connection to Google or other font providers is made when you visit the website.

Cookies and tracking

This website currently uses no tracking cookies and no analytics or advertising tools. Only technically necessary session storage may be used.

External links

Links to Google Maps, Facebook and other third parties lead to external sites with their own privacy policies. No data is transferred there simply by visiting our website.

Recipients and transfers to third countries

Recipients are the service providers named above. Where processing may take place outside the EU or EEA, we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection to processing, and to withdraw any consent given. Please contact hello@canarytravel.net for any of these requests. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Spanish Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD, www.aepd.es) or the authority in your place of residence.
